INTRODUCTION TO RISK MANAGEMENT
This course is designed to provide individuals that are new to project management a working knowledge of the tools, techniques, processes and materials involved in managing risk.

Students are taught the application of risk management as it pertains to government and commercial projects.

Case studies, questions, and class exercises are designed to provide real world application of risk management tools and techniques.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Students new to project management will be able to explain key risk management terminology and define the benefits of a risk management program.

Students will be able to identify agile risk management principles.

Students will be able to define the components used in the Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) process.

Students will be able to identify how risk management principles apply to their everyday work.
